InCulto, the Lithuanian entry to this year's Eurovision is reportedly in trouble. Their entry "Eastern European Funk" is filled with political lyrics. Multiple Lithuanian media sources have reported on eurovision-spain's article about the problem. The EBU has started investigation on the severity of the issue. The main lyric that seems to attract attention is "survived the reds and two world wars" referring to the Soviet regime. The other lyric which is said to offend is the way Lithuanians and other Eastern European workers in the West are spoken about, cleaning the rich's houses and building the rich's homes.

Three hosts for this Eurovision

Nadia Hasnaoui, Erik Solbakken and Haddy N'Jie will be this year's Eurovision hosts. Nadia will present the scoreboard and voting procedure while Erik and Haddy will open the show and present the artists. They will also be with the artists in the green room. Nadia was also a co-host in the Junior Eurovision that was held in Lillehammer in 2004. (source: NRK)

Belgium: Soetkin still waiting for excuses

Urban Trad was also a candidate for Oslo this year.

In 2003 Urban Trad singer Soetkin Collier was falsely accused by minister Richard Miller, of having an extreme right flemish nationalistic background. In an interview with newspaper het Nieuwsblad Soetkin is looking back at that incident. She also discusses her future Songcontest plans.
